Black Out

To say black is the new black is a given.  When is black never new?

A clean slate, it always looks sleek and cool when done right.  Give it a twist, playing up on the different shades of black by incorporating the use of various textures in one ensemble.   Leather, cotton, silk, and fur all yield a unique attitude and shows  off a certain flair that tells you that black is not so plain.

There are many sides to man and black can be used as a vehicle to translate emotion into a tangible feeling.  Black can allow you to stand out or get lost.  It can hide you within the crowd or be a beacon towards a new horizon.  However you choose to express yourself in black, it’s certain that being lost in the light will be impossible.

Fall Away

After the boys of Summer have gone, you now need to become the Autumn man.

Classic is the new way of getting things done.  Timeless pieces have to become a staple.  Wardrobe items need to be the threads that you can always go to and count on to give you quite a bang for you style.

Here, we see how that can be achieved with a little know-how and minimal effort.

Prince Of Prints

Take your prints to warm weather cool.

Incorporate a style of mix and match or a full blown ensemble.  It’s brave and bold and gives more insight into who you are.  Shedding light on any situation,  be the gent who has a refreshing perspective.  You’ll spark a certain chord within the being of those surrounding you making for happier moments and nothing but good times.

Good Business

Whether you’re away for business or pleasure, even mixing a bit of both, you can have a classic style and remain in the boundaries of the well travelled gent.

No flip-flops, cargo shorts, or hoodies here- just smart layers of sweaters and blazers.  Mixing in a wardrobe of classic suiting and go-to woven shirts will make for a proper transitioning piece throughout the course of each day.

Making use of a few accessories like an easy briefcase, a summer scarf, or a simple belt and shades will put you in the proper stance and will never have you in the wrong.

Burn Notice

There’s a word going around town about you.  But it’s all good notes.   You keep it fresh without a sight of a dull moment in the heat of Summer.

Poolside perfection has been brought to a new level with swimwear from designers like Paul Smith, DSquared2, and Versace.  This editorial only proves that less can make more of a bold statement.  Just pair it with your favorite shades and you’re done.

In Our DNA

Sean O’Pry, just wont quit.  Here, he is paired with Lara Stone for Calvin Klein Jeans F/W 2012-2013  Campaign.

A sexy look with western details and references to bondage makes for a multi-faceted view of what is daring and acceptable.  Call it dangerous luxury.  Fun and playful with style, a challenge is still set before us to push the limits.

Get Some Shine

Feel a glow?  The summer sun is a good excuse to let others get their eyes on you.  And with good reason.  You’re able to get every summer staple working for you, even by the water. Who can resist stealing a glance or a stare?

Denim shorts, a two button blazer, a neck-scarf and so much more breaks out into the heat to raise up your cool.  But there’s no facade here, it’s apparent that it’s all a natural gift.  Basque and relax knowing that you’ve got this all figured out.  There’s no way you’re losing.

Solid

To stand at a place where you cannot be removed requires you to have the knowledge, the skill, and the look of leadership.

RJ and Simon are the leading men in this editorial showing off some not so plain apparel.  They teach us that at times, a huge and risky leap doesn’t have to be taken to make a stylish impression.  Going with what you know can be a solid choice.
